Since i can't currently think of a single good thing that started with an apology i've decided there's no more fitting introduction to the ensuing venture. As such, i'm sorry. I apologize to any and all of you that find me to be insolent, ignorant, or arrogant. I can assure you, however, that if you reach any of these conclusions it is through no fault of yours, but rather because i truly am all these things.
And with that out of the way, let's get started.
I intend to use this site as a means of public reflection/critique for the material i am currently reading. I will go ahead and warn you now that my personal reading is almost entirely devoted to literature that is philosophical in nature. While i may, on occasion, insert a thought on works of fiction or poetry i don't plan on making that the focus of this site. I also want to make it quite clear that i am by no means an expert in this or any field and anything i write is intended merely to express my personal feelings and opinions. I hope that it might help point you to interesting new reads or encourage you to re-examine and question works that you're already familiar with.
